Migo, The search app for on-demand rides, has announced an expanded portfolio of ride partners, with the release today featuring bike share innovators Lime, Ofo and Spin in Seattle, and Biketown in Portland. These bike share leaders join Lyft, Car2Go, Seattle Yellow Cab and others on Migo’s free all- in-one mobile ride app.
Migo launched its free service last month in Seattle and Portland and is the first app available in the U.S. that allows users to search, compare and hail multiple types of personal transportation without having to jump from one app to another. The Migo app has quickly emerged as a leader in providing reliable information to customers, displaying real-time data for price estimates, GPS coordinates for all ride options and wait/walk times. Migo also makes it possible, depending on the ride partner, to search, hail and book a ride from within the Migo app. Some options still require downloading the partner app for booking and paying.
"Given the popularity of bike share services in Seattle and Portland, and the fact that bikes are one of the most-requested features from our early Migo users, we started testing the search capability for bike share last month so we could quickly get it out to our growing customer base," said Jeff Warren, founder and CEO of Migo. “We’ll continue to evolve not only the experience for each ride partner in Migo, but we’ll be adding new cities to Migo to help people find the best ride for them, wherever they are.”
Getting started with Migo is as simple as downloading the app from the Apple App Store and hailing your ride. Services that require an account, like the new bike share options, will either ask you to link to an existing account or Migo can help you create one ‘on the fly.’
Migo is your search engine for on demand rides, where you can search, compare and hail, without having to jump from app to app. Whether you want to get driven by a pro, just find the closest or cheapest way to go, or drive yourself and your friends, Migo can help you find, book and enjoy getting from A to B. Migo shows all the ride share, carshare, taxi, bike share and specialty options out there, with more cities and services being added every day. We’re not a new transportation company – we’re the search app that helps you find, book and enjoy your ride.
